This is Victor, Coulton, and Jakes lab group.
We all enjoy sports. Oh one last thing 'Are those slim'

Mixtures
Materials for this lab are:
Zinc Oxide
Copper II Sulfate
Graduated Cylander
Test Tubes
Test Tube rack

Copper II Sulfate is dangerous and harmful. It is a blue odourless crystalline solid. Harmful by inhalation or ingestion.
Zinc Oxide can be harmful if you mix it with other types of elements.

We are going to to put 15mL of water in each test tube to test for solubility.

Question: How does concentration affect the appearence?
Hypothesis: The concentration will change the color of the solution.
IV: Amout of water
Levels: 10mL 20mL 30mL
Repeated Trails: 2
DV: The amount of water
Constants: Water
Procedure:
1. Measure the water to 10mL
2. Measure the concentration
3. Pour the water into the test tubes
4. Then place concentration into the test tubes.
5.Observe
6. Repeat for each level.

Observations:
When the Kool-Aid was put in the water the water turned red.
The more Kool-Aid put in the water the darker the red was.
The Kool-Aid never settled.
What is and atom and an element?

What is the difference between a mixure and a compound?

Experiment
Question: How does the mass of the reactant and product change when it produces a gas
Hypothisis: The mass of the product would change.
Independent Variable: Mass of the reactant in grams
